Research and planning: Editing of the trailer

From researching in to romance trailers more I noticed that the conventions of these trailers used slow motion to emphasise the more romantic/happier times, and also to show the intensity of the tragic times. I used the slow motion tool in my trailer to show I understand the conventions of  a romance film trailer, and can include this in my own production.

Research and planning: editing of the trailer

Throughout the editing of my trailer I learned how to use the software more professionally, by detaching the audio this allowed the voice overs to sound more clearer, and by splitting the clip, this allowed the cutting of the clip to be more precise.

Research and planning: changes in development

Here is a podcast explaining how our roles have changed throughout the development of our trailer. My initial micro elements were cinematography and sound, but in this podcast we explain that all four elements were covered by us both. We found this was a more efficient way of developing our production.

Research and planning: Yours, Always trailer

Some amendments I made in the editing of my trailer was that after audience feedback, we found that the black screens in-between the slides would be suited better with more lighter colours and also colours that represent romance. So I have changed those slides to a beige background and hot pink text. Also I added extra slides to the ending of my trailer to include more conventions of a film trailer.

I have uploaded another version of my trailer, this time I have changed the resolution of the clip this way it looks less pixelated and can see more clearly the different elements of my trailer.

Research and planning: audience feedback

This is some audience feedback on my trailer from my media tutor, and two media technicians. I will take on board all of their comment and try my best to change things to suit their opinions.
